Here at Piedmont Advanced Dentistry, we believe that our patients oral health maintenance program should be customized to the patient. This means that we do not let insurance coverage dictate our treatments and wholly make our recommendations based on what is best for your oral and overall general health. Each time you are seen at PAD, Dr. Sabo or one of our registered dental hygienists will evaluate the condition of your oral health, make personalized treatment recommendations to address any concerns, and will spend time to thoroughly educate you on the steps you can take to improve your overall oral health condition.
Our hygienists are exceptionally trained with the latest evidence-based approaches. At every dental cleaning appointment, we utilize ultrasonic instruments with warmed water to comfortably remove tartar/calculus and flush out harmful periodontal bacteria and toxins from the gums. We finish our cleanings with a gentle enamel polish to smooth the surface and remove stain, then finish off with luxurious CocoFloss for the ultimate squeaky-clean feel. We are also equipped for small particle air abrasion treatments using our new Aquacare machine with Sylc cleaning and stain removal powder. In addition to the manual work of cleaning the gums and teeth, our team will also make recommendations for dental products and offer various cavity prevention solutions such as xylitol products and fluoride treatment.
